The EU cookie law in numbers

After the last minute addition of “implied consent” to the EU cookie law, I’m having another think about how all this impacts on digital marketing.  And whilst doing so came across this great infographic from eConsultancy:

EU Cookie Law: The conundrum in numbers [Infographic]

Whilst there’s a bit of a plug for their full report (a snip at £250) it does put things into perspective.  Does the average user understand enough about cookies to make a decision?  Are we explaining ourselves clearly enough?  Here’s how the BBC, Telegraph, Channel 4 and the Guardian are doing it.

What do you think of their solutions? Seen any better ones? How are you approaching things?

About londoncharlotte

Hello. I’m Charlotte Beckett. I’m Head of Digital at The Good Agency. These are just my thoughts about fundraising, campaigning, communications, engagement, advertising, that type of thing. And maybe some other types of things. I believe in integration, but not matching luggage.
